Right at the seed. For maximum efficiency. Saving resources.

Our coating solves several problems at the same time and helps you on your way to a sustainable, cost-efficient and less labor-intensive agriculture.

Your benefits as a farmer

Remedy for drought stress

A cellulose-based water reservoir integrated into the coating absorbs 100 times its own weight. Water stored in it evaporates very slowly. The reservoir is active in the soil for approx. 4-5 years, until it is degraded by microorganisms. Especially for seedlings, this increases the chance of surviving drought stress.

Ideal nutrient supply

Depending on the demand and crop, we equip the coating with nutrients. The biochar ensures that the nutrients stored in it are immediately available to the plant. This leads to better growth and significantly increased nutrient efficiency.

Stimulated growth

We incorporate selected biostimulants into our coating to further stimulate plant growth and provide yield stability.

Less feeding damage

Pest damage is an ever-increasing problem. The biochar coating acts as a natural protection for seeds against pests, because it disguises the seed.

Additionally, we can incorporate biological repellents into the coating to ward off pests.

More flexibility in fruit selection

Through our coating, we increase the diameter of the seed and thus manage to make small seeds machine-compatible and individual seed placement possible. This saves costs, since the preplanting of crops and manual planting is no longer necessary.

Our coating is universally applicable

We can coat almost any seed and respond individually to your needs. Here you discover the exemplary advantages of sowing various crops:

Maize/ corn

  • Water storage: 400 liters per ha per sowing
  • Decreasing crop losses, resowing and topdressing
  • Reduction of the risk of yield losses and feeding damage to the crop
  • CO2 reduction through reduced fertilizer use: approx. 750 kg/ha
  • CO2 sequestration through incorporation of biochar: approx. 60 kg/ha

Rapeseed

  • Water storage: 825 liters per ha per sowing
  • Decreasing crop losses, resowing and topdressing
  • Reduction of the risk of yield losses and feeding damage to the crop
  • Single-grain placement
  • CO2 reduction through reduced fertilizer use: approx. 850 kg/ha
  • CO2 sequestration through incorporation of biochar: approx. 135 kg/ha

Small seed crops, e.g. medicinal herbs

  • Water storage: depends on the crop
  • Decreasing crop losses, resowing and topdressing
  • Making small seeds machine-compatible and individual seed placement possible
  • CO2 reduction through reduced fertilizer use
  • CO2 sequestration through incorporation of biochar
